Palestinian and Israeli Children in the West Bank: Visualizing Legal Inequality

Over the course of 2012, Israeli activist Michal Vexler produced a series of informational graphics that, in her words, put “ugly reality into neat charts.” In October 2012, Vexler and the Council for Arab-British Understanding produced a graphic demonstrating the differences in the legal rights accorded to Israeli and Palestinian children living in the occupied West Bank. The illustration demonstrates that, at every stage in the legal process, Palestinian children face greater delays and more severe punishments than their Israeli counterparts.

Vex’s other graphics are available hereprisoners.
